Agricultural Resources Management Institute

This international design competition is for a Korean new agricultural resources management institute. I worked on this project with other interns at Helsinki Zurich Office Oy. The site is located in Uiseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea. They were trying to expand the facility by preserving the existing buildings. Our design embraced the layout pattern of the existing building and scattered the new buildings accordingly. Additionally, we planted the valley for agricultural vehicle-only access to avoid intrusion into the surrounding horizontal scenery.

My contributions to the project are concept design, building design, landscape design, documentation and project management.
