Strömfors Urban Plan

The urban plan project of Strömfors in the city of Loviisa is one of the projects I worked on in Helsinki Zurich Oy. With the guidance of a master architect, I designed the site plan, divided the functions and designed sample housings. I tried to embrace the original village’s layouts regarding buildings, the river and little patches of wood. In the town, there were several patches of wood with valuable ecological value, and we wanted to preserve them and made our design non-intrusive.
