Korean Patent Attorneys' Association HQ

The Korean patent attorneys' association HQ is located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Korea. I worked on the project at Sumock Architects & Associates. In the midst of a bustling neighbourhood in Seocho, the building stands prominent and yet subtle. The well-proportioned extruded mass is hovering above the ground and gives pedestrians and visitors a spacious welcoming feeling. Small patches of gardens are located on the rear side of the ground floor, below the hovering mass and on the roof. The visitors and the employees can connect to little greenery in the middle of the big city during their busy life.

My contributions to the project are building design, interior design, landscape design, exterior design, detail documentation, green energy design/permit and construction supervision.
